Roof Prism binoculars offer a more compact and elegant design, giving the astronomer a more general-purpose binocular that can be easily carried for bird watching and other daytime uses, whilst still giving great performance at night.

For astronomical use, we've selected a number of models with fairly generous apertures - 40 to 50mm - which should easily show the moons of Jupiter. If you have trouble holding them steady, you may wish to consider one of our tripods to go with them.
